| Brief Description | A survey of strategic water sources carried out in Galmudug State of Somalia in 2015. The purpose of the survey was to map key water sources (strategic water sources), which are used for drought response. Two hundred and twenty nine (229) water sources were visited and data collected on location, function and use, physical parameters, water quality, demand and supply. At least one photo was also taken for each water source visited. Samples from fifty (50) water sources were collected and analyzed in a specialized laboratory for common compounds and heavy metals. |
