| Brief Description | A survey of strategic water sources carried out in Banadir Region to collect data and map strategic water sources in the region. SWALIM-developed tools for water sources data collection and monitoring, including an Android mobile phone-based data collection kit (ODK – Open Data Kit) were used. Field survey included visiting the strategic water sources and collecting data on location (GPS coordinates), water usage, physical parameters and basic water quality. Two hundred and twenty (220) water sources were surveyed, and 114 samples collected for detailed laboratory analysis. Out of the survey a report titled “Water sources survey in Banadir Region” was published. |
